New Bedding

 
When I get a bed frame, paint the walls, tape and float the sheet rock, etc, etc... I'll be through with the bedroom. But I'm really proud of my $39 dollar bedding. Check out the first of my "Place Mat" pillows. $3.50 for the place mat, and a couple of bucks for the fiber fill. Sure does beat that $179 dollar pillow I saw at Spice.

First Day of School

August 28, 2007 - First Day of School and I didn't take one picture. Can you believe it? I only have one child left in the public school system. Bo's first day in 8th grade went well. He liked all his teachers, and came home ready to join FFA and raise a cow in the back yard. Whooh... boy, lets give this a little thought. I can't even get him and Logan to feed the dogs on a regular schedule. That's just what I need is another mouth to worry about feeding. Guilt... it's what's for dinner.
8th grade football games are on Tuesday nights for those of you that feel the need to sit in the stands and what some gridiron. Bo doesn't seem the least bit worried about afternoon workouts. Perhaps he thinks that it will be a breeze compared to digging and covering up ditches in the mid day sun. He made good money this summer working for Bukowski Bros, and managed to start a savings account.
Well I better get busy, I need to find a way to split up some computers into two, so that Lacey has one for her online class. Oh yeah, did I tell you she is back in college full time. Working full time, and Mommy full time.... and wife.....

JaiceyBelle Turns Two

 
JaiceyBelle had a good time this afternoon in the backyard pool. She was the coolest one there in her florescent orange swimming suit. Many of her mommy and daddy's friends came and brought lots of presents. She was precious as we sang Happy Birthday. My favorite moment was when we were looking at her and she pointed out to us (by saying eeeewhhhh, shhuesh... nassty) That Jack was peeing on Dillons man bag. Too funny. (Sorry Dillon). The gift bag full of princess goodies from Casey and Dillon was a big hit. She loved the magic wand.

Happy Birthday Daddy's Little Girl

 
Well, can't deny how cute this is. I imagine JaiceyBelle and Kris both are just hoping Lacey will grow out of the beauty pageant phase. But as long as JC keeps winning? She is two years old today. Talking like a champ.
When Lacey was making cupcakes for her to take to daycare, JC alerted her Mom, "there are baby eagles in those eggs". No JC, there these are cupcake eggs. But she wasn't easy to convince. She just knew there were baby eagles in there.

Coastal Weather

  I just love the plants and flower around the Apartments that Brooke is living in. Whoever thought of a Hybiscus Hedge. But they have one. Paul kept saying...wouldn't your dad have loved this.
