Lemony Snickets

Well, they travel well. I just wanted to point out that Bo was reading a book. He finished it just outside of Sante Fe. JaiceyBelle was such a good little traveler. Sixteen hours in a carseat, and she was a trouper.
 

Where's Logan

 
Thought this was a cute picture of the kids. Logan is missing though. She must have been doing something for Lacey. Logan is good about helping out with JaiceyBelle. Lacey is a master at delegating what she needs done.

Purgatory

 

The day started with a trip over the mountian to Silverton. Ended with an afternoon of tubing at what used to be called Purgatory. We got back to Durango about 8:00 and had a nice supper at the Ole Tymer before heading back to Pagosa Springs.

Ski Crib

 
We really didn't know what to expect. I rented Pete's cabin sight unseen. As you can see... we were pleasantly surprized. We had plenty of room and felt fortunate to have found anyplace on such short notice.

Fun on the slopes

 
Wolf Creek Ski area was fun for those that skied, but JaiceyBelle loved the snow too. Her Grammy was having a tough time keeping up so her momma took a break from snowboarding and ran her up the hill a few times so she could slide down. She loved the cold, as long as she had gloves on.

Aunt Happy

 

My Aunt Happy is 89 years young for a few more days. She will turn 90 on the fourth of April. She told my sister the other day that those that have gone on before her must be wondering where she is. That they probably think she backslid and went the other direction. I am so glad we got to have a brief visit. This feels like home to me.

Snowbunnie

 
We have returned from our "bukowSKI Trip". Colorado is always at the top of my list. I was so glad that the others that were seeing it for the first time got to see it in such marvelous glory. The weather was in the high sixties during the day and cooling off to 29ish in the wee hours. Logan is pictured here after a run down the hill at what used to be called Purgatory. We had spent the day exploring Silverton, and then came back to Durango Mountain Resort for the after hours tubing.
