You know you are old when....

Last night Paul, Becky and I went to the Reo Speedwagon concert at the Hogg Creek Ice House. They have a large outside venue that was not under water last night. Luckily we were allowed (resourceful enough) to get sit up in the VIP patio area. Can't think of a better way to attend a concert. It was June 22 in Waco, and yes, there were times I thought I might get chilled. The was a ten minute period when it looked like a cloud was going to open up above us...but it pasted with nothing more than a stiff breeze. By the time the headline arrived on stage, it was calm and cool and an absolutely unrecognizable summer night in Waco.
Last time I went to a concert...
- people held up lighters - now it's cell phones
- the smell of pot was everywhere - last night it was cigars
- lots of skin - lots of "comfortable shoes"
Perhaps it was because the lead singer started with the band in 1970. ARGH.... I'm getting old.
