This year I urged the kids to write down something about their father. Either one of his funny stories that make them laugh or a memory that is special. The following are what he received for Fathers day.
LOGAN's STORY
I remember one summer afternoon when you taught me how to ride my bike. Holding me up by my t-shirt, and just letting me ride around while you ran behind me. You've always been there for me and I cannot thank you enough. All the wonderful and wacky times we've had, I'll treasure forever. Remember at the races when those two people walked up (completely drunk) asking for beer? Crazy! It seems that where ever we go you always attract a crowd with your stories! Like the time "you got shot out of a cannon". Oh and the time you fell butt first through the suburban window! Hope we have many more of those silly times. . .
B0'S STORY
Happy Father's Day
I love my dad for many reasons. One is that he takes me to a lot of parties at the races. It is very fun with him when his sister comes along. There was one time that was the funnest day ever. We wre singing YMCA and the Sangria Wine song when we were tailgating. It was funny because my dad, mom, sisters, and everybody were being funny as they could be. Especially when Aunt Pat peed herself. I could not thank my dad enough for taking me and that was the best time I had with my dad.
LACEY'S STORY
HAPPY FATHER'S DAY
So, I'd have to say that one of my favorite "Dad" stories would have to be the one about Dad and Mike and Mark Muesse driving "AROUND AND AROUND" the traffic circle on LaSalle. Every time I hear it, the number of beer cans grows, but I'm sure there was a floor bord full. My favorite part is when they get pulled over and when the officer askes what they are doing, they reply, "oh nothing, just driving aaaround". Well Brooke and I just had to try it. Two blondes, a mustang and . . .well no beer but a gnarly sugar rush I'm sure. We just had to see, and yes, it is a fun as it sounds.
I thought they all did a great job. Happy Father's Day Paul. Thank you for being a father to my kids.
