Flood

 
The trees in this picture are usually sitting on a little earthen bank about 12 feet above the creek that Paul takes the kids to. We got up early this morning to a light rain. We drove over to Marvin's for coffee and then just decided to see how high the lake was. We had no idea how much rain had fallen. The creek that is normally about 2 feet deep is about 20 feet deep in this picture.

Logan's Graduation

 
Logan's group enter their row. With Vance as a last name, and 404 kids walking, it took a while for them to all file in. I was very surprised that they got the whole thing done in two hours. I never could find Logan afterwards for photos, but when she and Philip got to the car I managed to snap one.

One last hurrah

 
Hewitt Elementary had a Seniors night tonight. All the kiddos that started at Hewitt, and are graduating on Friday were invited to a pizza party. These gals were all on the same soccer team for years! Hard to imagine they are graduating.
Logan got her first "real" job today. She will be starting at Schmaltz's Sandwich Shop on Thursday. YEAH! I had threatened her with working with Paul doing plumbing until she found a job. Guess that worked.
