Genetics

Who knew? I didn't know that a
"Plumber's Crack" was an inherited trait. But this evidence is indisputable.

Master Composter

Let it not be said, that Paul and I don't try to teach our offspring to be green. Never mind that it is fun to get dirty. JaiceyBelle was spreading rich, dark compost around her PoPo's trees. She was able to see the evidence of how well it works yesterday. After it rained a little bit, the grass was already green in those areas that had compost. Just three days later.

At the Zoo

While JaiceyBelle was visiting on Spring Break, we made a trip to the zoo. Glad we went when we did, be for it got cold again. I will say after walking the zoo for 2 hours, I am thankful for my hip replacement. Getting to do things like this with my Grandbaby, without pain pills, is worth it.

What every girl needs

If every little girl, had a lavatory in her grandparent's back yard, making mud pies in the sand box would be so much simpler. This little girl has two to choose from. Of course her PoPo is a plumber, so that makes it a little easier. Today was a pretty day. Paul bought a pallet of compost from the ROTC fundraiser, and is in the process of spreading it around his trees.

Marvin Update

This afternoon, after I got back to Waco with JaiceyBelle, we went to visit PaPa Marvin. He was a little blue, but who wouldn't be, laying there alone. I hope a visit from his great grand daughter made him feel better. He looks good and has lost a lot of lbs. He is well on his way to recovery.

Bill and Happy

This is a newly released photo of my dad, Bill, and my aunt Happy. They were living in Amarillo, Texas.

Got my Goat

Friday, Theresa and went to McDonough Auto Service, to drop off her car. I drive past there every morning while taking Bo to school, and admire his goat. Since I was there, and happened to have my camera, I snapped a few. Perhaps I need to try painting a goat. I just love goats. They are a lot like my husband. Always appreciate a back scratch, will eat anything you put in front of them, and oh yes, just a bit hard headed.
