UPDATE :

Thank you for all your prayers. Megan has been found. She was spotted in San Angelo by someone who had seen her face... recognized her and made that phone call. So tonight she is safe. Praise the Lord.

It is my understanding that she was with an older man, posing as her father. So please use this opportunity to remind your children that the internet can be dangerous.

Family is growing

Last tuesday night, Philip Eby came to the house and asked our permission to marry our daughter Logan. We like Philip and gave him a good interview, and our permission. Tonight we had supper with Philip's mom. She was delightful, and we hopefully made a good impression on her as well. I'm sure I will be sharing more in the future...

New Sculpture in Waco.

Western Artist Robert Summers has been commissioned to put a whole heard of these longhorns near the Waco suspension bridge. These are the first two pieces. I enjoy working downtown, I get to see these beauties every day.

Grandma Talk

I know bragging about my grand biscuit might seem droll to you, but she is the light of my life. On my way to work this morning I got a little video on my phone of her reciting her weekly bible verse. It was so cute. I sure do miss her being in Waco.

Miracle -

Can't deny that is has been a long week. Last thursday night we were in the ER with Paul's dad. He had fallen, and we could not get him up. When EMS got there, he started trying to get sick, so they transported him to the hospital. Very good thing, by 10:30 they had diagnosed a rupture to the colon. Emergency surgery was done about midnight.
At the first of this week, we just weren't sure how this was going to turn out. But I am happy to report that after my visit tonight, that PaPaw Marvin is back. His is the Marvin we know and love. Tomorrow he is being sent to Rehab. Thank you to everyone for all your prayers on his behalf.
