Well, I will give Logan this. She was the easiest of the girls when it comes to pre-prom drama. The dress was perfect, the shoes were comfortable, the hair pleased her... she did freak out a little over too much make-up. She gave in and wore a little foundation and lipstick, just to please Brooke and I.

Well, Logan has now experienced one of the rites of passage. An over-priced prom dress, prom hair, nails and dinner at a sushi bar. Ryan came home from Texas A&M between finals and escorted our youngest to prom. He is such a cutie, and we all think the world of him. Logan and I started our day off by springing our dogs from jail. They had run away during the lightening storm this week. You think prom is expensive... loose a dog. Brooke came over and went to the beauty salon with her, and then did her make-up. We decided the Waco suspension bridge had too many prom couples on it, so we opted for the next bridge down. Hot and muggy, but the sprinkling quit by the time we got downtown.

Thursday night we took Lacey, Kris and JaiceyBelle out to celebrate Lacey's birthday. She chose Ninfa's downtown. After the meal, we took a stroll over to the fountain outside of City Hall. Hard to believe that that was 22 years ago that I gave birth to her. It's even harder to believe that Paul is 50.
