Weekend at Grammy's House

Sunday afternoon, football game on the TV, and JaiceyBelle and I couldn't keep our eyes open. Fire in the fireplace and a big cozy chair zzzzzzz. 

White Trash Bash

Making our children proud, Paul and I all dressed up for Janna's "White Trash Bash" thrown in honor of Kevin's birthday. The chilly weather might have kept the numbers down, but the folks that showed up came in the true spirit of Redneck. 

For Dave and Mel

I am adding this picture of Matt walking through Janna's livingroom so that Dave and Mel can get a glimse into their old home. I know at the very least it would have to be interesting. 

JaiceyBelle and "Cousins"

Finally here is a photo I promised of the Houston Twins. Yes the Baylor Homecoming weekend festivities at my house included learning how to share. JaiceyBelle on the left, found it strange that there were two other girls at Grammies house, playing with her toys.

Can't Believe She's Gone

Kristy Miller was a team mate of Lacey's back in early days of our soccer chapter. She was such a good kid. Just like Lacey, she was a rough and tumble little tomboy back then, but grew up to be a beautiful young woman. I know Joyce is just gonna be lost without her. Keep her in your prayers.

Kristy Lynn Miller, 22, of Oglesby, passed away Thursday, Nov. 9, 2006, at an Austin hospital. Funeral services will be 10 a.m. Tuesday, Nov. 14, at College Ave. Baptist Church in McGregor. Burial will follow in Dawson. Visitation will be from 6 to 8 p.m. Monday at Pecan Grove Funeral Home, 3124 Robinson Dr., Waco. Kristy was born on June 21, 1984, in Waco. She was a 2003 graduate of McGregor High school, and she enjoyed riding horses, and she couldn't have too many clothes. She loved everyone, and loved life, and was always there to help someone in need. She was preceded in death by her father, Jimmy C. Miller, Jr. She is survived by her Mom and Dad, Joyce and James "Eddie" Smith of Oglesby; sister, Jamie Smith of Oglesby; grandparents, Patricia Hilderbrand, Nelda and Jimmy C. Smith, Sr., and Jane Smith; and numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, and a host of friends. June 21, 1984 - November 9, 2006
