Weekend before last I made a quick trip home to Portales. The mother of one of my oldest friends, Brian Harris, passed away, and circumstanced allowed me to get home for the funeral. I got there an hour before the service and left for Pampa shortly after. My sister Jany and Billy Jones were mid move. So Saturday we laughed and cut up while attempting to move. It was fun, even if we didn't get much done. Jany starts a new teaching job at Pampa Jr. High in a few days.
