Commended Performance

My precious Bo has done something that none of his sisters ever did. Scored over 2400 on the TAKS Mathmatics test. This earns him the title of Commended Performance. I am so proud. Math is one of those things that has always stumped me. So anything he learned, is a tribute to him and his teachers. (with the exception of that Buddo woman in 6th grade, who said he needed testing or drugs)

Yes, I made him pose for the Blog photo. He was not too happy about that, but he is proud of his score. I might also point out that he installed that light fixture behind him, with a little coaching from Lee Neal.

Logan had her presentation today in Psychology. It was a self improvement project assigned at the first of the year. Her goal was better time management. When she got done with the presentation, her teacher told her that she was the best. She had set the bar for the rest of the students. So proud of my kids. Logan was always one of those kids that needed structure and schedules. Alas, she was born to me... a "fly by the seat of my pants" kinda gal.

Brooke is finishing up her semester at Del Mar. The only thing keeping her from completing all her goals are lack of patients with type 2 dental problems. Don't know exactly what that means except, they must complete, 1s, 2s and 3s... and if those patients don't come in... well, they have to catch them next semester. Not unusual for this program.

Bo needs a hair cut, but he has the notion that he wants to grow it out over the summer. Paul told me a long time ago that hair is one thing that he wouldn't fight with Bo over. I think Paul would still love to have long flowing blonde hair if he still had hair.
