Fossils R Us

Paul and had a beautiful Sunday afternoon. We drove out toward Crawford and on our way out to the Crawford Cemetary we stopped off at the little creek that runs through there. It is limestone bottom, and in some places just as smooth as it can be. This fossil was not the only one like it, but it was the biggest we found. I kept trying to make some three-toed looking imprints into dinosaur track...but perhaps I was trying a little too hard. We are fairly close to Glenrose, where they actually do have tracks in the creekbed. It was just nice to be out in the sunshine and poking around in the wild. I sure needed it.
